Joe Cooper, PRESIDENT

PRESIDENT’S CORNER ……..As Past President Bob said last year, only 1 more month before I get to sit out in the audience and act like Harvey to heckle the President. Looking at some of the things we did this past year I think the entire club can feel PROUD of our successes, the recognition in the community, and the financial help we have given to students and other worthwhile organizations. We all know that there are a number of unmet needs in the community, and our membership has worked on solving some of them. Supporting the firefighters battling for the various communities, helping those who lost everything in a fire or other disaster, and being ready to pitch in when and where needed have always been hallmarks of the KIWANIS clubs, and Sierra Oakhurst is no exception. It has been an honor to be your President this past year. I’m looking forward to a successful term as your Lt. Governor, and with Harvey pushing I know I can count on the support of the club.
Many thanks, Joe
