PRESIDENT’S CORNER – I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. It is now time to move into December and we have a lot of things going on in the Club. We have Boys and Girls Club Christmas Tree Auction, Santa’s Pancake Breakfast, our Christmas Party on Dec.5th in the evening (NO DAY MEETING), Eagle Scout Project Ceremony, Mini Grants Awards and the Community Outpouring. With all this going on, there is Christmas and New Years around the corner. This is the joyous part of the year.

The Mini Grant requests have been submitted and the awarding of those Mini Grants will be on Dec.19th at our noon meeting. These Mini Grants are funded from the proceeds of our “Run for the Gold” Car Show. We are planning to award a total of $10,000.00 to our local area Elementary and Intermediate Schools in Eastern Madera County.

A membership note: John Lassos has EXTENDED INVITATIONS TO ALL FORMER Kiwanis members in the community to come to our Christmas Party and think about renewing. Current members please bring a friend to lunch and introduce them to our Kiwanis Team.

The Christmas season is upon us. MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy New Years to All
