Bob Spinelli, PRESIDENT
PRESIDENT’S CORNER – Now that Halloween is now over and we are full of candy, we can concentrate on the month of November. A quick thank you goes out to our Road Clean Up crew, who cleared up Hwy 41 in town and from CHP office to the 49/41 intersection. Good job and Thanks goes out to Rich McCrae for leading the crew. I would also like to send out a shout to the October Pancake Breakfast crew and to Mike Lindman for leading that effort. The only downer was the attendance to the breakfast was the lowest we have ever had. The Pancake breakfasts for next year will be a topic of discussion at the Board Meeting on Nov. 6th. Lastly, and not in any particular order, the Golden Chain “Another Show, Another Opening” on Oct. 28th was a success and a BIG THANK YOU goes out to all that helped and to Dori Hartman for her leadership.
November is a quiet month as far as activities in the Club. It is that time of the year to bring new members. Please talk it up to your friends and neighbors. We are a service organization dedicated to serving children one community at a time.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Admin. and and Fdn. budgets were discussed and adjusted. Our Treasurer, Jerrie will have both budgets ready for approval as soon as possible!
